A goldsmith for the last 15 years, Marte creates exquisite work in precious metals and gemstones, as well as tile mosaics, paintings and sculptures, all of which have been exhibited in galleries throughout the Southeast.

“Having studied, researched and labored as a working artist for the last 20 years, I continue manifesting and perfecting my jewelers’ skills, most of which are the natural outpouring of 3 generations of familial expertise. It’s in my blood. After obtaining a BFA from Georgia State University, I was taught the art of jewelry at my fathers’ and mothers’ side; I then continued to hone my skills thru attending prestigious jewelry workshops at such venues as The Revere Academy and the Gem Institute of America.” Marte
